This is a development project founded by West Tennessee Clean Fuels. Its first effort will be the National Plug In celebration at the Hooks Library in Memphis on September 25, 3-5pm. Check out the Club!!!

Mid-South Greenprint & Sustainability Consortium

The Mid-South Regional Greenprint and Sustainability Plan will be focused on open space, but will establish a regional, comprehensive framework to address housing and neighborhood land use, community health and wellness, alternative transportation and fuels, resource conservation and environmental protection, workforce development and regional employment, accessibility, neighborhood engagement, and social equity. The study area for this project is defined as the boundaries of the Memphis Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and West Memphis (Arkansas) MPO.

The Southeast Regional Alternative Fuels Market Initiatives Program, which includes Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, and Tennessee, provides first responder and vehicle maintenance technician training; develops Alternative Fuels Readiness Workbooks to guide alternative fuel vehicle (AFV) deployment readiness; assists municipalities with AFV readiness; and creates and provides procurement policies and incentive models.

Grants and other funding opportunities are handled administratively for the Coalition by the West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation. The Foundation provides this service to certain non-profits for projects impacting within the West Tennessee Healthcare service area.
